It took me two days to perfect this shot. The first attempt the day before, it came out blurry. Today it came out perfect, and the lighting was much improved.
Seeing that it's taken you two days to perfect this shot, I can definitely see how this has taken several shots to find the medium. Starting from the higher background, the hue of the canopy is amazing. The sheer amount of colour is astounding. The colour of the sky contrasts with the yellow canopy and this creates a very effective purple outline. The amount of trees and foilage in the photo is perfect. Enough to let the sunlight & sky in, but not too little to leave the photo sparse. It drops away a little on the right side, seemingly a little less dense. Moving a little lower it's apparent that there is a significant change in foilage from yellow to green, but it's only a little so again it doesn't subtract from the quality. The photo was taken perfectly inline with the bridge, I can see you've spent time on ensuring this. You've taken this at the right time of day, enough light to detail everything but little enough to shadow. You've nailed it on the head when it comes to exposure and contrast, but I think it would benefit from a little lower in brightness. The bridge leading off into the distance pictures a sort of tunnel, leading off into a more alive world, where the green foilage is. But overall, amazing shot. A lot of detail on the bridge, perfectly reflected in the water, shadowing adds to the serenity of the picture, and an amazing use of contrast. Well done.
